Resources

Software & test equipment

In-house simulation and measurement resources, for reliable results and autonomous site work.

Software & tools

ETAP Network modelling and simulation — load flow, short-circuit, selectivity, arc flash, harmonics, earthing systems.
PowerFactory Network studies and grid code compliance for renewable connections.
ELEC CALC & CANECO Standardised LV / MV sizing and calculation notes.
Protection relay programming Proficient with manufacturer software — ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, GE. ABB logo Schneider Electric logo
Design & automation AutoCAD for diagrams and drawings, Python for calculation automation and post-processing.

Measurement & test equipment

Protection relay testing on site — injection test set connected to a control cabinet

We own primary and secondary injection test sets for protection relay testing, settings and pre-energisation checks.

Measurement and diagnostic campaigns — power quality, insulation, thermography, soil resistivity — draw on the shared resources of the Volt Expertise partnership.
